FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What is the age limit?
A. There really is no age limit, but students under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, staying in the same room.
Q. What is the cost of a person staying on campus with an underage child, or a student's spouse who does not wish to attend classes?
A. You will be charged for the room charge of $14.50 per night plus meals of $16.75 per day, a total of $31.25 per day. These prices are 2005 prices, but might increase in later years.
Q. Is it possible to get a private room?
A. It is possible, but expensive. There are two beds in each room and to get a private room you would be charged for the other bed in your room. To get a private room and private bath, you would be charged for the two beds in your room and the two beds in the adjoining room which shares the bath — four times the normal room charge.
Q. Do you have a class on sound systems?
A. Yes, taught by Brian Speer, husband of Allison Durham Speer who travels with her and operates her sound systems.
Q. Are there any restaurants within walking distance?
A. There is a Subway Shop on the edge of the campus in easy walking distance. Within two blocks on Murfreesboro Road, are Sonic, Mrs. Winner's Fried Chicken, Wendy's and McDonald's. Do not walk alone but go in pairs or groups. Farther down Murfreesboro Road (driving not walking!) is Piccadilly Cafeteria, O'Charley's, Longhorn Steak House, El Chico's and Waffle House (my favorite).
Q. Can you take more than one set of private lessons?
A. Yes, but we do not recommend more than two because most of the lessons are scheduled during classroom periods and we don't want you to miss any more classroom instructions than necessary.
Q. What is the daily schedule?
A. Devotions at 8:00.
Theory classes 8:30 to 10:30.
Group (all students) singing in from 10:30 to 12:00.
Lunch.

Q. Can a person attend for just one week?
A. One week students are charged exactly half of the Full-time Student rate. If private lessons are desired, they will have a lesson each day at the regular rate (not half).
